Who is each option for?

Rawshot

Rawshot’s promise is “Your whole collection, shot on AI fashion models.” It suits brands that want a low monthly entry price and a broad toolset in one subscription: on-model, ghost mannequin, flat-lay to model and video (up to three 5-second scenes). It is EU-based and positions itself on GDPR and AI-Act labelling, with a no-prompt interface.

There is a 7-day free trial with 50 tokens (10 images). Rawshot states “There is no annual discount.”

Best for: You want a low monthly entry price, a free trial, ghost mannequin and video in one subscription.

NotShot

AI on-model photography for fashion e-commerce, paid in credits. You create a brand-owned AI model once (a portrait, then a 4K model bake and a multi-side setcard) and reuse the same person across every shot. One render can combine 1 to 8 garments in a single 4K pass, and every render is checked by an AI quality judge for garment fidelity and pose adherence. Renders that fail are rerolled or refunded.

A 4K frame costs 4 credits, which comes to $0.80 to $2.00 per 4K image depending on the pack. New accounts get 50 signup credits, about 12 frames. Pay as you go starts at 20 credits, and bundles start at $29.

Best for: fashion e-commerce teams that want one recognisable model across the catalog, full outfits in one 4K frame and a quality check before they pay for a render.

The best Rawshot alternatives, tool by tool

What each tool is built for, what it costs where pricing is public, and when it is the right pick.

NotShot

NotShot creates on-model photos with brand-owned AI models. You create a model once (portrait, 4K bake, multi-side setcard) and reuse the same person across the catalog. One render combines 1 to 8 garments in a single 4K pass, and an AI quality judge checks every render for garment fidelity and pose adherence; failures are rerolled or refunded. A 4K frame is 4 credits, which is $0.80 to $2.00 per 4K image depending on the pack, and new accounts get 50 signup credits.

Pick it if: you want the same model across every product page, full outfits in one frame, and a quality check before you pay.

WearView

WearView promises “AI Generated Models for Fashion at 90% Less Than a Photoshoot”. Plans run from Lite ($29/mo, or $24/mo yearly, 50 credits) to Advanced ($99/mo, or $82/mo yearly, 500 credits). An HD image is 2 credits, 2K is 3 and 4K is 5, so our math runs from $0.33 (HD) to $2.90 (4K) per image. It removes mannequins from product photos, offers video on Pro and up, and the app runs in 9 languages.

Pick it if: you shoot on mannequins and want them removed, you want to choose the output resolution per image, or your team works in German, French, Italian or another of its 9 app languages. More: WearView alternatives.

Modelia

Modelia calls itself an “AI fashion model generator”. It has a free Starter plan (20 credits a month, 2K with a watermark), Creator at $30/mo for 150 credits in 4K, and Atelier at $109/mo with “All generations inclusive” under fair usage. A standard image is 3 credits, so Creator works out at about $0.60 per image. It lists video, an API, a Shopify app, flat-lay to model and mannequin to model, and up to 16K on the $385/mo Brand plan.

Pick it if: you produce high volume every month and want a flat monthly price, or you need video, an API or a Shopify app in the same tool. More: Modelia alternatives.

Botika

Botika turns product photos into on-model images and lists video, a Shopify app and a free trial. Pro is $55/mo, or $46/mo billed yearly, with 600 credits a year. Pro exports 2K; 4K sits on the Advanced plan. Our math puts Pro at $0.92 to $1.10 per image.

Pick it if: you want on-model images, video and a Shopify app from one subscription, and 2K is enough on the entry plan. More: Botika alternatives.

Uwear

Uwear sells credits pay as you go at $0.10 per credit with a 70-credit ($7) minimum, and credits never expire. Its page states $0.30 to $1.20 per image. It lists an API (with MCP) and video. There is no free tier.

Pick it if: you want pay-as-you-go credits that never expire and API access. More: Uwear alternatives.

FASHN

FASHN positions itself as “The AI agent for fashion e-commerce”. The app starts at $19/mo ($16 billed yearly) for 200 credits, and “most tools start at 1 credit per image”. The API is sold on demand at $0.075 per credit (minimum $7.50) or in monthly tiers from $19. Output goes “up to 4K”, and new accounts get 10 free credits.

Pick it if: you are a developer or a team that wants an API and low per-credit prices, and you are happy to run the workflow yourself. More: FASHN alternatives.

Is there a free Rawshot alternative?

No serious tool in this category is free for ongoing catalog work, but most let you test before you pay:

A fair test takes about an hour. Run the same garments through Rawshot and each alternative you shortlist:

  1. Pick 3 to 5 garments that are hard to get right: a print, a knit, a sheer fabric, a full outfit.
  2. Use each tool’s free entry to render the same garments on a similar model and pose.
  3. Zoom in at 100% and check garment fidelity: logos, seams, pattern scale and colour.
  4. Count the renders you had to throw away and add their cost to the price per image.
  5. Render a second batch a week later and check whether the model still looks like the same person.

What it really costs: worked examples

Three monthly volumes, priced on Rawshot’s public plans and on NotShot credits.

200$179 (Business, 400 images)$320 (Pro, $0.40/credit)$198 (two $99 bundles, $0.99/image)
1,000Enterprise contract (above Business’s 400 images)$1,400 (Scale, $0.35/credit)$796 at the $299 / 1,500-credit bundle rate ($0.80/image)

Rawshot: 5 tokens per image; plans are monthly with no annual discount. Per-image figures from Rawshot are at 2K. NotShot: 4 credits per 4K image. Figures are our own math from public prices; taxes are not included.

Rawshot costs less per month at 50 and 200 images, and its plans leave headroom (80 and 400 images). NotShot costs more per image but renders every frame in 4K, keeps one brand-owned model across the catalog, fits up to 8 garments into one frame and checks each render before you keep it. If you shoot in seasonal batches, NotShot credits avoid paying for months with no renders; if you shoot steadily every month at 2K, Rawshot’s plans are cheaper.

For how NotShot credits break down per action, see NotShot credit cost, explained.

Where NotShot leads

NotShot limitations: being honest

Questions to ask before you choose

Six questions that decide most Rawshot vs NotShot choices faster than any feature list.

What does a kept image cost?

Divide what you pay by the images you actually publish, not by the images you render. Throw-away renders are part of the price on Rawshot and on NotShot alike; NotShot refunds or rerolls renders that fail its AI judge.

Which resolution do you need?

Product pages are often fine at 2K; print, zoom and campaign crops benefit from 4K or more. Compare like with like: a 2K price against a 4K price is not a fair test.

Do you need the same model on every page?

A consistent face and body across the catalog makes a shop look like one brand. Check whether a tool can reuse one model across batches weeks apart.

How steady is your volume?

A monthly plan suits steady output. Credits suit seasonal drops and batches, because you do not pay in months with no shoot.

Do you style full outfits?

If you sell looks rather than single items, check how many garments one render can take. NotShot combines 1 to 8 garments in one 4K pass.

What else must the tool do?

Video, an API, mannequin removal or a shop integration may matter to you. List them before you compare, and check Rawshot’s current pages for each.

How we compared

Competitor prices, plans and features come from each vendor’s public website and pricing page, checked in October 2026. Per-image prices are our own math: plan price divided by the images it buys. Where a vendor prices per credit and the credits per image vary, we say so instead of guessing. NotShot figures come from our live pricing. Prices change; check each vendor’s page before you buy.

Which should you choose?

Choose Rawshot if its pricing model matches how you shoot and you need what it lists that NotShot does not claim here. Pick Rawshot if you want the lowest monthly entry price, if 2K images are enough for your shop, if you need ghost mannequin or video in the same subscription, or if an EU-based vendor is a requirement for you.

Choose NotShot if your catalog depends on one recognisable model, if you style full outfits (up to 8 garments in one 4K frame), or if you want every render checked by an AI judge, with failures rerolled or refunded, before you pay for it. Credits mean you only spend in the months you shoot.

The fastest way to decide is to render the same garments in both. Category guides help you pick test garments: see NotShot for swimwear and for sweatshirts.
